CLOSED FOR REMODELING JULY 26, 2015 -AUGUST4, 2015

Hi Everyone.
Hoping you all went to the website and then the newsletter for your 10% off coupon.
It does expire tomorrow because we are closing and remodeling the shop.
We have a great contractor and they will be completely redoing everything.  The goal is for
you to have lots of room to move around the shop when you come in.  There will still
be a nice table for you to sit at and of course, coffee, tea, wine and CHOCOLATES!!
Remember, we have a professional on staff everyday for free help from 1-5PM.

Newsletter Subscription Now Available On Our Website

We have added a space for you to sign up for the newsletter on line with your email address.  If you still want a paper newsletter, please let us know and we will mail you one.  Otherwise, the March-April 2015 will be the last mailing we will do.  We are up to 4000 letters and I'm getting too old to lift all those letters!!

2015 Orange Blossom Yarn Crawl

We are celebrating our third year of the Orange Blossom Yarn Crawl.  Make it to all 7 shops and be entered to win a $500 gift certificate to spend at any shop or shops of your choice.  Each shop will also have a lovely prize basket valued at no less than $300. Cruise pictures and Black Friday Sale

The cruise pictures are coming in.  We will have Charles' up this weekend.
A great time was had with Nicky Epstein and Cascade Yarns. Thank you to
everyone who joined us!  We hope you will start saving up for 2017!

Our Black Friday Sale is for three days,  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this year.
We are putting all the chairs outside so there will be no sitting and knitting for during the sale.
If the weather is bad, we will have the brownies and campaign inside.  Lots of ribbon yarns
to make those fun scarves for your holiday gifts. Come enjoy all the GREAT PRICES!!

We are VERY excited about the cruise.  Over 150 cabins booked for
November.  Nicky Epstein and Cascade Yarns are coming and the
price is great.  If you think you are interested, just give our travel agent, Daphne,
a call at 321-632-5610.  It costs you nothing to ask questions.
We do have an event fee of $200.00 that includes 26 classes our staff (12 are going)
will teach on board, all the parties, a goodie bag full of fun stuff, and evenings
of fun.  Our  fee is not due until August so you can get your cabin paid for first.
Florida is starting to get steamy but the shop is cool and there's always coffee, tea
wine or water and lots of chocolate!  See you soon!

BLACK FRIDAY SALE AND CRUISE NEWS

It's that time again, we are running around trying to decide which store to hit first on Black Friday.
We are open at 10AM and will have some great deals. Last year everyone who shopped our sale
went away very happy.

CRUISE NEWS:    We sail on the Enchantment of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) November 3-7, 2014
out of Port Canaveral , Florida.  As of today we have booked  over 85 cabins.  We are very excited and have already ordered the cruise bags,  neck wallets, and many of the goodies you will receive. Don't forget, Nicky Epstein will be teaching three of her signature seminars on board (for an added price) and will do a free evening presentation.  Cascade Yarns will host a yarn tasting and style show. 
Also sailing with us is Shannon Dunbabin , Cascade Yarns principle and designer extrodinair.  She will host the style show and give us wonderful information on yarns and style at the show and throughout the cruise.

We visited the Enchantment of the Seas and she is beautiful!

I am so excited to tell you how fun and beautiful the Enchantment of the Seas is. Royal Caribbean's
updated ship is the one we are sailing on for our Knitting cruise with Cascade Yarns and Nicky
Epstein  Nov. 3-7 2014. This ship is bigger than the ship we sailed on last year and the rooms are big and well appointed.  Our prices are on average only $30.00 more than last year and we have an extra day at sea on this cruise.  The prices include the Port charges, taxes AND gratuities for the ship's staff so there are no surprises. New yarns are stacking up;  Cascade and Noro just in and Juniper Moon's new
Moonshine.Cascade's new yarns Sunseeker and Pluscious are doing so well the company is two
months behind on reorders!  We have most colors of each.
Don't forget to sign up for one of our many classes.  We still have the lollipop sale for June's classes.

CRUISE NEWS FOR 2014 WITH NICKY EPSTEIN!

We are all excited about the prices of our next cruise November 3-7, 2014 on royal Caribbean's
Enchantment of the Seas.  Nicky Epstein is sailing with us between her trips to Europe! She will offer
three seminars (to be announced) at an additional fee.
Also, Cascade Yarns is once again coming with mountains of yarn to test and play with.  Our staff of
10 instructors is traveling with a list of 24 free classes for you to chose from. The registration fee
due to us is $200.00 and we will not be collecting it until August of 2014. So you have plenty of
time to pay for your cruise.  We always include federal and port taxes as well as gratuities in our
prices.  No surprises!  Check out the flyer under cruise 2014 here on the website for prices and give Daphne a call at Travel by Ginny  321-632-5610 to secure a cabin.  Remember, only a few dollars reserves your cabin and we sold out last year's cruise.  The national ads will start this fall with Interweave Knits Winter.
We had so much fun on our last cruise and the free goody tote filled with fun "stuff" and the prizes Cascade gave out were wonderful.
This is a great affordable cruise out of Port Canaveral , Florida.  Fly into Orlando, we will have a bus to get

CRUISING, NEW YARNS, CLASSES

WOW!  We have 90 cabins booked for our cruise in November.  Melissa Leapman is teaching
4 seminars and we are teaching 24 classes on board. Cascade yarns is coming with great events planned.  You can still book a cabin even though the registration page says August 1rst.  Just contact the travel agent listed on the flyer.  It's going to be FUN and if you want to come along,  just call!
We have returned from TNNA with lots of new "stuff"-- also wonderful yarns are coming in daily.
Along with the new stuff from show, we are offering a full schedule of classes.  They are posted
as is the newsletter.   August brings our newletter for September and October and our classes for those
months. We will post both the new newsletter and classes toward the end of the month.
Remember, you are always welcome. Bring a project and sit with us.  We have chocolate, coffee , tea
and wine and free help from 1PM to 5PM.

CRUISE NEWS

We have over 45 cabins booked for our cruise in November.  We will be teaching classes each day
and your registration fee gets you into all our on board activities.  Soon we will post our teaching schedule
for the cruise and include descriptions of the after dinner events.  If you are thinking of joining us

Malabrigo Finito Is Here!

Hi everyone!
We have every color of the once a year production of the Pure Superfine Merino from Malabrigo
Yarns called Finito.  You may have heard about it on Ravelry; this kettle dyed yarn has a gauge
of 24-26 sts. = 4inches on a US 2-4. This yarn only comes out once a year and there are only
a certain number of bags available to us in the USA.  Come see the 21 colors, 200yds per skein.

New Knit and Spins in the shop

New knitknoid for us knitters.  Hand made by a gentleman in New Hamphire for us.  We ordered 24 and
are almost out.  Good news, he is making us some more. As you can see, they come in a short version
with a 5 inch spindle and the taller version has an 8 inch spindle.

Just a note, our ad for the cruise will be in the Interweave Knits Winter edition--don't forget to go into
the website for more information. We have a lot of fun people going--think about coming along, it really
is going to be fun.  We have classes planned by the staff all day and events every night.  You can slip in and
out of our structured schedules as you wish--it's YOUR cruise.

Events on the Cruise

Hi Everyone!
I just talked to Daphne at the travel agency and she suggested we post the prices for the cruise with the Port taxes, taxes,and gratuities added in so you are not mislead by the base price of the room.  This is a group rate and is lower than the internet when all is added. 
Also, I wanted you to know that we have events and classes planned outside of Melissa's classes (although if you have never taken a class from a national teacher, now is the time!)
We have three conference rooms on board(actually, we took all the conference rooms they had) with a nice
greeting area.  Melissa will have a room of her own the two days she is teaching, the middle one has a stage and is bi-level so we can have our "sample-its" and yarns in there, and the third we can use for our teachers throughout the day.  Each one of our staff will be teaching one hour "make and takes" or knit-knoid projects(that's my word for knit knoids.....)during the day.
Our group has early seating at dinner(6-ish) which is the only meal we have planned. Otherwise, you will not believe the buffet's on board.  They have an Asian and Indian buffet in addition to the regular buffet on the pool deck.  If you have special needs, just let your waiter know in advance for the next day.
There will be a full published schedule of activities that your registration fee covers as well as your "goodie bag" full of fun stuff--and the bag is neat, too.
Remember, with Melissa, Cascade, and our staff on board, as well as Daphne from the travel agency, I promise you will have a wonderful whirlwind of a time!!!
